Description

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Pokemon Emerald, 130 artists came together to create Pokemon Emerald ReSprited, a ROM hack featuring entirely redrawn sprites for all 386 Pokémon in the game.

Features

  • All 386 Pokémon have new sprites created by a collaboration of 130 artists.
  • Enjoy the classic adventure in the Hoenn region.
  • Custom Trainers and Shinies
  • Includes all original Pokémon Emerald features.

Version Difference: Vanilla vs Plus

Pokémon Emerald ReSprited comes in two versions: Vanilla, and Plus.

Vanilla: This version offers the classic Pokémon Emerald experience with a fresh, new look. Every Pokémon has a completely redrawn sprite by one of 130 talented artists. No changes have been made to gameplay or mechanics—just the original emerald adventure with enhanced visuals.

Plus: In the Plus version, beyond the updated sprites, you can catch all 386 Pokémon in a single save file, eliminating the need for trading to complete the PokéDex. Trainer teams have been updated to feature the artists who contributed to the project, but Gym Leaders and rivals retain their original teams for a familiar challenge.

Additionally, trade-evolved Pokémon now have new in-game evolution methods, so no trading is required.

  • Politoed – Happiness
  • Alakazam – lvl 33
  • Machamp – lvl 42
  • Golem – lvl 38
  • Slowking – Water Stone
  • Gengar – lvl 38
  • Steelix – lvl 35
  • Kingdra – Water Stone
  • Scizor – lvl 35
  • Porygon2 – Happiness
  • Huntail – Happiness (Day)
  • Gorebyss – Happiness (Night)

Shiny odds have been increased significantly, from the standard 1/8192 to 1/512, making it easier to encounter shiny Pokémon.

Additionally, there’s a mysterious Hex Maniac near the summit of Mt. Pyre who’s been waiting for someone special. She carries strange and rare items—perhaps it’s worth paying her a visit?
