Welcome to the Egho (ee-go) Region!

Plot

You wake up in the middle of a forest with no recollection of who you are.

With the help of a local professor and his assistant,
you are thrust into an adventure around a mysterious island in hopes of regaining your memory.

Fun times and tough challenges await!

Controls

Z = Run

CTRL – cycle through speed up options (use with caution)
F9 – Soft Reset (Best to be used while standing in the overworld, or in a normal battle. during dialogue and special event battles, it can be buggy)

Played this rom a couple years ago, it was amazing! Yeah, the region is relatively small on the map, but the areas/dungeons are a bit larger to compensate, and there’s a LOT of post game content to explore to keep you engaged after the main story ends. I think my biggest complaint about the game is the extremely limited moveset on a particular mon you hatch from the post-game (if you know, you know), and the leveling curve takes a nosedive a bit at the end, as trying to grind levels can get a bit monotonous when gearing up for the final battles in other dimensions. Overall, biggest pro/con is that there are way too many awesome and competitively strong mons that I want on my team at once 😭

Heads up, there’s still lots of negativity and problematic messages in the comment sections of other newer/updated games’ that are on the front page that I have seen. On a good chunk of them.

May get flack for this, but I think the comment section on this website should be completely gone and nearly everything wiped. If someone needs help with a particular hack or if there’s a developer update there’s like some kind of portal or something specifically for that, just so no one can just say whatever they want with no filter. That or create filters.

I’m just a dude who’s trying to find new games to play since actual main line games aren’t that good imo and the admin and devs who work tirelessly to give us that deserve major props and appreciation. It is absolutely crazy to see so much hatred being spewed back and forth over Pokemon games of all things. The world is shit, let’s not make it worse than it already is.

  i used to moderate the comments and get rid of the problematic ones but haven’t been able to do so for while bc i kept getting sick. I’ll start moderating them properly now so people can just enjoy playing the games.

    You’re a serious W admin [: I kind of just expected things to stay the same way forever, honestly. People both online and in Pokémon communities can get really bad, so I resigned myself to it being the way it was. That everything turns out that way eventually.. It was getting worse and worse over time, and there was wrongness on both sides.. But in the last couple weeks or so, it seemed to escalate even further and faster than I imagined it would… It became way too much.
    I’m really glad you stepped up and did something before it got even worse, even if they forced your hand. I think I speak for *most* people when I say thank you for intervening and we really appreciate it. Glad you’ve made a recovery and can moderate the site again! I do still like to have a comments section and being able to have discussions in a more clean environment so if possible, please consider keeping it. Thanks!!

  I don’t see why you should get flack. It’s a fair point after everything went down. I didn’t see it all, but I stopped by every few days or so at least and yeah, saw things being thrown around that really didn’t need to be said at all…
  I like having comments sections, while I mostly lurk.. But if things get bad enough in a community on the internet, I understand things becoming limited. On Youtube for example, many creators will disable comments temporarily or permanently.
  We can definitely all do better. some more than others. But, still… everyone.
  I gotta give props to the few who spoke out against it and remained positive.
  I can’t blame anyone for being silent / a bystander, I was as well. Because it can invite those with malicious intent to harass you, and they may not want to face said harassment. Completely valid. Still, you few are very brave for it. You, Dawn, Vermillion, and James
  There may have been others but most comments have been removed, rightfully so. But you all know who you are. Round of applause for you guys! [:

    Appreciate your comment! It means a lot. Yeah I guess when I first wrote this I had a slight worry one of the problematic people would come after me if they knew I was directly referencing their behavior. But as I wrote it I was like “nah, this needs to be said still”. I do like the removal of the dislike option. And admin, if you see this, I think I can speak for countless others that we appreciate you and your hard work a ton. Especially with all the chaos that’s been going on here.   Honestly I would say that’s the fastest way to get Nintendo breathing down the site owner’s neck. I think staying away from 3ds and switch romhacks, as great as they are, is for the best. Look what happened to yuzu, and a ton of pirate sites.

  As FANTASTIC as I think Re:Illuminated Platinum is gonna be as well, it really should have no place here. Ofc it’s up to the site owner/admin of Pokeharbor. So if they disagree and decide to have it on the site, more power to them.
  But it would feel like opening up Pandora’s Box. And be a Monkey’s Paw type of wish.
  Like yeah maybe the site will gain a massive amount of popularity overnight. But it could be at the cost of being put onto Nintendo’s radar along with other sites hosting/sharing the game. I’m not a lawyer, though. It’s not the career path I chose lol. So I really don’t know. I’m just theorizing I guess haha.

  I’ve always strived to keep pokeharbor a safe space for everyone. but for a while now I haven’t been able to moderate the comments because of personal reasons and because i was sick. but I’m fine now so I’ll make sure that mindless drama and hate speech stays away from the comment section.
