Welcome back to the world of Rijon

Twenty years ago, the first complete Pokémon Red mod to completely change the region and story was released. Since then, it has inspired thousands of creative visions, and beautiful games, and kickstarted hundreds of careers. Today, we give the game its biggest update ever, and the love and care it deserves. Play the classic that started it all – Pokemon Brown.

Featuring 231 Pokémon, an updated region to explore, upgraded graphics, new characters, overhauled maps, extra story, modern features, Pokémon Prism integration, and so much more. The twentieth-anniversary update adds a level of polish so far unseen with this earliest entry in the Rijon saga. And all still in classic binary!

Footnotes:

1. How to fix Eevee: Get Eevee on your team, then talk to the trading lady at any Pokémon Center.
2. Invulnerability glitch: If a Pokémon is fully paralyzed or hurts itself in confusion during the semi-invulnerable stage of moves like Fly or Dig, almost all attacks from the opponent will miss or fail until the user switches Pokémon, finishes the battle, or successfully uses a charging move.
3. Status animation bug: When an enemy inflicts a status condition on the player, the extra animation will not play. This is normal behavior in the vanilla Red/Blue games.
4. Compatibility glitch: May occur if future rebalance updates affect compatibility types abnormally.
5. New Stone Evolution Pokémon moves:

• Raichu: Learns Thunder at level 50.
• Nidoqueen: Learns Earthquake at level 50.
• Nidoking: Learns Earthquake at level 50.
• Clefable: Learns Moonlight at level 35, Moonblast at level 50.
• Ninetales: Learns Fire Blast at level 40.
• Wigglytuff: Learns Hyper Voice at level 40, Moonblast at level 60.
• Starmie: Learns Confuse Ray at level 20, Psychic at level 40, Hydro Pump at level 60.
