Description

It is inspired by Pokémon Yellow with a PSS system, items – moves – skills up to Generation 4, a day-night system, following pokemon, and much more…

This contains the entire game up to the champion, might be incompatible with future saves, with some things missing:

  • Finish free space
  • Finish pokemon icons for gen 2 and 3
  • Let the player unlock the appeal sensor (lets u see Pokémon condition in-game)
  • Let the player unlock the stats judge (let’s you see Pokémon iv ranges in-game)
  • Let the player unlock the water can (let’s you water berries)
  • Block linking in nuzlocke mode
  • Improve headbutt encounters
  • Add another jessie and james encounter
  • More hard mode tweaks and trainer parties

Features

  • Pikachu as Starter
  • Following Pokemon System
  • Fully compatible with vanilla gen 3 games and Pokemon Heliodor!
  • Kanto rebuilt in Pokemon Emerald engine, this includes RTC, berries, contests and post-game facilities.
  • Pokemon color variation from Pokemon stadium, this is reflected in the followers, party menu and pc boxes!
  • Richer Pokemon icons, this reflects the PID of your Pokemon and if they are shiny
  • Lots of quality of life features
  • Built in hard mode, nuzlocke mode and level cap
  • Lots of touches from Let’s Go Pikachu, including Jessie and James.
  • Sevii Islands are locked to post-game, they all have new and revamped content
  • And lots of more stuff!

What about the Sevii Islands?

  • I’m still working on them, they will take a while to get done. Also, please keep your expectations low, will be just some maps with small content on it, nothing wild.

What about translations?

  • Working on them, still, they will take a while to get done. Maybe I will switch to just finish one language first and them go with another one and so on, we will see.

What’s needed for the game to be completed?

  • Finish Sevii Islands
  • Finish Mew event
  • Add some roamers/legendaries
  • More contest Kanto movesets
  • Translations
  • Finish Free Space
  • Probably small stuff that I’m forgetting

Changelog – What’s New in v1.8.0!

Important Fix

  • Opening the “About the Game” menu no longer restarts your Nuzlocke, Challenge Mode, Level Cap, or Extra EXP modes.
Thanks to @Maya for discovering a way to reproduce the bug!

New Challenger to the Champion Title

  • Maya won the contest on how to properly reproduce the long-standing bug.
She and her Pokémon team have been added to the game as a Champion Title Challenger!

Don’t Miss Those Pokémon Anymore!

  • After beating the Champion or defending your Champion title, the following Pokémon will reappear if you don’t have them marked as caught in your Pokédex:
    • Snorlax
    • Articuno
    • Zapdos
    • Moltres
    • Mew
    • Mewtwo

In-Game Achievement System

  • Added a new in-game achievements system.
  • Achievements are compatible with old saves!
  • Earn a star on your Trainer Card if you collect every achievement (replacing an old FRLG mini-game achievement).

Some achievements are NOT compatible with previous saves, but can still be earned again:

  • Defend your title vs a Champion Title Challenger
  • All achievements related to contests and ribbons
  • Talking to an NPC to check your Pokémon’s Hidden Power type
  • Number of Eggs hatched
  • Number of Berries planted

Achievements will still be registered even if you traded these Pokémon from another game:

  • Catch Articuno
  • Catch Zapdos
  • Catch Moltres
  • Catch Mewtwo

Other Changes

  • Added held items display to the Pokédex.
  • Allowed gaining EVs at Level 100 and with Level Cap active.
  • Adjusted how Extra EXP Mode works:
It now gives less EXP at the start, but scales with your badge count.

Extra EXP Mode Details:

  • +25% EXP for enabling Extra EXP Mode
  • +10% EXP if Level Cap Mode is enabled
  • +20% EXP if Nuzlocke Mode is enabled
  • +15% EXP for each badge earned

If all are active and you have all 8 badges, you’ll earn 175% more experience than vanilla games.

  • Added Staryu to more fixing locations.

Other Fixes

  • Fixed Pokémon types not displaying in the Pokédex.
  • Fixed Charizard’s sprite in the Credits scene.
  • Various fixes to the Options menu.
  • Fixed issues with the follower system, DNS settings, and some fade transitions.
  • Fixed Professor Oak’s platform color starting in black.
  • Fixed Elite Four/Champion level scaling if you lose against Champion/Title Defender.
  • Fixed bugs with Charmander, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle trainer NPCs; improved related text.
  • Hopefully fixed movement issues on Nugget Bridge.
  • Improved some Kanto follower sprites (more improvements coming in future bugfix updates).
