Embark for a short, yet challenging Pokémon adventure!

Discover Dakos, a small region set in a hostile wasteland, with a unique story.

Goals

Dakos is a small region with only 3 towns, all accessible from the beginning.

I’ve created an exciting hack offering players a short, immersive adventure. With this game, you can start and finish in a single run but expect a challenging and captivating experience. The storyline is coherent, and much effort has gone into the dialogue to keep players engaged.

It’s highly recommended that players engage with non-playable characters (NPCs) to understand their surroundings and progress through the adventure. However, players who prefer to grind can also do so.

The wasteland theme of the game is evident in the storyline and tileset, with trainers and the wilderness being particularly hostile, especially at night. Furthermore, items are scarce in Dakos so players won’t find any potions in this ROM.

• Original Wasteland Tileset and Story

The game’s setting and storyline revolve around the original Wasteland tileset, offering a post-apocalyptic environment with a well-developed storyline that keeps players engaged throughout the game.

• Starter Given at Level 30

To offer players a challenging experience, the game starts with players receiving a starter Pokémon at level 30. This makes the battles more competitive and engaging from the very beginning, as players must use all their skills and knowledge to succeed.

• Challenging Battles with Fine-Tuned Trainers

The game is designed to offer players challenging battles with fine-tuned trainers. The trainers have well-developed strategies and use Pokémon with diverse abilities to test players’ skills to the limit.

• Increased Wilderness Diversity (with Day/Night Cycle)

The game offers an increased wilderness diversity that provides players with an immersive experience. The day/night cycle changes the environment, which affects the types of Pokémon that appear and their behavior. The wilderness is also designed to be more diverse, including different biomes such as towns, caves, and grasslands.

• Exp. Share Benefits Your Whole Party

The game’s Exp. Share feature allows players to level up their entire party quickly, making it easier to face the game’s challenges. The feature applies to all Pokémon in the party, making it easier to level up and evolve multiple Pokémon at the same time.

• Running Shoes Available from the Start
